StatisticsThe follow-up statistics generated through the years demonstrate that the EOC is a successful program that has made an impact on the community it serves. The program continues to grow and improve to meet the changing needs of the students.
The Educational Opportunity Center has been in operation since the fall of 1990. The school is staffed by seasoned professionals with many years of experience in alternative learning center environments. The program has grown and evolved over the years to better meet the needs of alternative students.
The program incorporates many facets to provide each individual student with a plan to help them succeed in their future endeavors. The program boasts an 80% success rate for students achieving a high school diploma or GED. Seventy-five percent of the students polled after graduation have followed their Individual Service Plan.
The EOC has been used as a model for many new alternative programs throughout the state of Indiana. The school has been published in National school magazines, and we have received telephone calls to inquire about our curriculum from as far as Nevada, South Dakota, and even Washington.
The EOC has received the State of Indiana Department of Education Exemplary Award twice.. Our goal is and always will be Excellence in Education.
